Michael Dean has developed a great reputation as a wine importer for over 35 years. Known for bringing impeccable wines to wine lovers across the country, now he brings you M. Dean, a California name you can trust to deliver similarly high-quality wines with exceptional value. He’s traveled far and wide to wine regions around the world establishing many life-long friendships with winemakers.

WINEMAKER

Michael recruited one of these friends, the renowned winemaker Alisa “AJ” Jacobson, to help make his vision a reality. As a UC Davis graduate respected for her craft, AJ was making wines for 19 years at Joel Gott Wines, before teaming up with Michael to create M. Dean.

California is at the heart of M. Dean’s wines. The land’s rugged character produced simple-yet-refined cuisine by elevating traditional cooking. This defined the youthful and energetic style of California’s wines that grace the tables of wine lovers around the world. As a result, our wines are infinitely delicious and ready to drink with a wide range of dishes or on their own.
